Today was no ordinary day, neither extraordinary-but exceptional. Today was the first time I felt capable and confident in a while. I participated in a makeup competition at school despite my dislike for teamwork (Ive always liked to be solo dolo) but I learned that I am far more capable of listening to people and being open to suggestions (from others) than being so rigid and incapable of cooperating.I know this might seem rather inconsequential but for me it was a big step in self-awareness. In conjunction with my good feelings I felt popular today, if only in my imagination. My school crush had a minor conversation with me, I found two old friends on my way home, and my hard work in the competition was acknowledged-which I wholeheartedly appreciate, even though I didnt win, it didnt matter much to me. I had a good day is pretty much my point, one actually worth blogging about. Also I decided to shave my head even more, I suppose on a whim of today's endorphins. Here's a picture. And also my style is getting more rock n roll these days..idk why :) hopefully I can do a fashion post soon!

I had fun doing this although it wasn't how I originally planned to film the video, it worked out..minus the fact that when I wore the red wedges in this video I totally fell to the floor and killed my already sprained knee..I even got in on camera and everything. I didnt include in the video of course, but it would've been funny if I did. I swear I was like one of those old ladies from the Life Alert commercials "help! Ive fallen and I cant get up!" so I think I'm going to the hospital in the am, which is another old person quality I have; I wont go to the doctor unless I'm like really dead, which in this case my knee is now. haha.

On the plus side I get to do waxing at school tomorro, which should be good for some laughs..and hopefully run into Mr.Anonymous who I have a crush on at school but this time without making an awkward fool of myself. Glowy Skin & Neon Lips | And a Sonia Kashuk Foundation Review

Hello everyone here is my latest youtube video, just filmed a couple of hours ago! I'll make this a quick post because I have to go buy broccoli now haha. I wanted to film my How To: style a body con dress video on the weekend but it was a epic fail so Ive yet to do that as well as shoot some fashion posts.But with school full time and being a single mom, well you can imagine how that goes. Well enjoy the video as well as a mini review of the foundation I used in the video. :)

So quick review! The Sonia Kashuk Perfecting Luminous Foundation can be found at Target  for $9.99, which is pretty affordable in my book. I have the shade Bamboo, which might be a bit light for me- strange considering its the second to darkest shade. They dont have a huge shade range. The coverage is light to medium but i use two pumps for my acne scars. It gives off an ashy white cast when you first put it on..scary! it goes away after a while though but i fear this might be a problem only in the darker shades. All in all its a good value because it dosent feel cakey or heavy on the face which s what i wanted for my spring /summer makeup. Worth it? MAYBE! try it out for yourself and keep the receipt if you dont like it! haha good luck. :)

An UnOriginal Forever21 Spring Clothing Haul

So it's almost 11 pm and i have to be up at 5:45 am for my killer 2 hour commute to school..on the bus!!! fack.But you can't take away the youtuber in me, never that!! so heres my latest finds, hope you like em. Thrifting & Etc. | Downtown LA Haul

Hello. So heres the stuff I picked up from the wholesale district in Downtown LA. All the clothes were thrifted costing me about $8 total- except the polka dot bustier I got at forever 21 a while back for $12. The shoes are from a store that sells $5.99 and up shoes but both mine cost $20, not bad considering I was pondering buying the Urban Outfitters Ecote Wedges that look similar for spring/summer that'll run you about $130 a pair. HAHA. thats laughable! And then today I picked up these new Revlon nail polishes which I loooove. They were about $4.99 or so but Rite Aid has really good coupons in their circular right now for $3.00 off these bad boys; therefore making them hella cheap all in all about $6 and some change for the lot. Yessss! I love couponing and thrifting, its like my new thrill in life.
